- Launch Studio365 after downloading the application.
- Enter your username and password, check "Remember Me" if you don't want to type your username and password every time you launch Studio365.
- If this is your first time using the software, you will be taken through a
series of brief questions to assist in your first broadcast setup. The steps are:
- Choose to create a new playlist when prompted.
- Enter a name for your playlist. This name will not be seen by your listeners - name it whatever you
like.
- Enter a title and description for your broadcast. This is a good opportunity to "sell" your station to prospective
listeners, the text you enter will be crawled in Live365 searches. Your title and description will also appear in our directories and your
station page.
- In addition to the title and description of your station, the
default search also optionally includes a string search of keywords specified by you.
- Minimum Connection Speed determines the minimum connection speed your
listeners must have to listen. T1/DSL/ISDN/Cable is the best audio quality. You may change this
choice at a later date but you should set it before uploading your first MP3 tracks.
- Tell us where to list your broadcast in the directory - stations
stats, search results, and a variety of other broadcast criteria are based on your
primary genre. You can change this setting any time.
- Shuffle play ignores the order of the tracks in your playlist and plays
the MP3s randomly. This is optional and can always be changed.
- URL is the link (on the player window and your station page) that sends your listeners to your personal website if they wish to visit. This link can be updated anytime.
- A final dialog box will provide a link to further information on
creating and maintaining your playlists. Bookmark these links for future reference.
- The Studio365 Main Window will open.
- You will first need to add tracks to your
Online Track Library.
Please see the guide to
upload tracks to your Online Track Library. When
you have uploaded some tracks, proceed to the next step.
- You will then need to build a playlist. Please see the guide to
creating a new playlist. When you have
created a playlist, proceed to the next step.
- In the Station drop-down menu, select "Start broadcast" and you'll be on the air!
- Enter your username and password after launching Studio365
- Assuming you already have tracks uploaded and playlists built, select a playlist that you
would like to start from the drop-down next to the playlist prompt in the "current playlist"
box. If you do not already have tracks uploaded and playlists built, please follow the new user instructions above.
- In the Playlist drop-down menu, select either "Cue after song" or "Cue after playlist"
and you'll be well on your way to controlling your Studio365 Basic broadcast from your desktop!
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista 32-bit (Vista 64-bit not yet supported)
