West Coast Rap is a sub-genre of Hip Hop with influential artists that originated on the West Coast of the United States. While West Coast Rap history does include Gangsta Rap from the likes of 2Pac, Ice-T, N.W.A, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, there are also many varying styles of influential artists such as Hieroglyphics, Jurassic 5 and The Pharcyde.
