This is a known problem of Internet Explorer on the Macintosh. In brief (and without being too technical) IE uses a lot of your computer's resources — in opening up both the player window and your default MP3 player. As a result of the weight on your resources, your computer may incur some internal error, causing the IE browser to crash. This issue is not common with Netscape Communicator users.
