When you're a first-time user of Studio365-Live, you will be prompted through a First-Time Wizard.
- Double-click on the Studio365-Live 2.3 desktop icon. You will first be asked if you already have an account on Live365.com. If not, you'll be directed how to create an account.
- This window will then appear:
- Click Next > for this window: Enter your Live365.com Username and Password.
- By selecting the Remember Me checkbox you will instruct Studio365-Live, and in fact, all of your Live365 software to automatically log into a specific account. This will include your web and Start365 sessions as well. If you have multiple accounts you might want to keep this unchecked.
- Click Next > for this window: In the Title text box, type in the name of your Broadcast. (Note: this will be the description in the directory display.) To help Listeners on the Live365 web site find your Broadcast, select Genres in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd drop-down list. (Please make sure the Genres you choose are related to your broadcast.)
Note: Advanced Stations Stats, Search Results and the variety of broadcast contests
are based on your Primary Genre (Genre 1).
- The Description will let your potential users know more about your broadcast and what to expect. To help people find your broadcast you can supply additional Keywords such as specific artist names. The description and keywords are displayed only for paid broadcasters however.
- Enter your web site URL. Listeners can click on the URL to go to your site.
- Click Next > for this window. Select the Connection Speed of your modem and the Output Quality you want to broadcast.
- Click Next > for this window. Click Add MP3 Tracks... If you don't want to add any tracks right now, you can skip this window and move on. Otherwise, at the System Window, navigate to the folder containing your MP3s. You can select them one at a time or a group at once. These audio tracks will be the material in your Studio365-Live Playlist.
- Click Next > for this window. Click Finish and your Broadcast will automatically start. You have just created your first Studio365-Live Playlist and are ready to turn your computer into your own personal Internet Radio Station.
On the Studio365-Live Playlist window, the Tracks will be played (in the order listed or randomly, as you choose).
Congratulations!!! You're Live to the World Wide Web!!!
