The Playlist Scheduler is new in Studio365-Live 2.3. It will let Studio365-Live start up different playlists during the day, adding much greater variety to your show.
On the Studio365-Live Main Window, click line Playlist Scheduler... in the Controls drop-down.
If you don't have any playlists built, click on File > New Playlist... The Build
Playlist window will appear. Click here for help in creating a new playlist while in scheduler.
- On the Playlist Scheduler Window, click the Add button. This brings up the standard system file dialog.
- Select an M3U playlist file and click Open and the Add Playlist dialog box will appear.
- Make any changes to the Title and/or Description fields. This will change your broadcast title and/or description in the directory and station page.
- Set the time of day you want the playlist to start with Start Playlist at
- Click the OK button.
- Repeat steps 1 through 5 as necessary.
- You can start the schedule playing by clicking on Activate. You will notice that the Playlist Window will now automatically load in the new playlist scheduled for your current time.
- A confirmation window will verify the first playlist.
- Click Yes and you're on!
Note that if a schedule is activated while you are not on the air, the Playlist Scheduler will automatically start the broadcast.
