Live365.com Achieves Phenomenal Growth with Launch of New Broadcast Tools
New features contribute to 300% increase in simultaneous individual broadcasts

Foster City, California, December 7th, 1999 – Live365.com, the leading source for the creation and broadcasting of personal online radio stations, has experienced unprecedented growth over the past three weeks due to the launch of two new Web applications. These features, called EasyCastTM and LiveCastTM respectively, allow users to broadcast via the Internet quicker and easier than ever before. This ease of use has contributed to Live365.com's now staggering menu of over 1300 simultaneous individual Internet radio stations…making Live365.com the largest streaming MP3 sites on the Internet.

EasyCast is a Web-based application which allows individuals to upload and store their audio content on Live365.com's massive server infrastructure. Once uploaded, users can broadcast their Internet radio streams directly from Live365.com's servers. This improves the quality of the broadcast and permits users to maintain their stations around the clock. EasyCast is the only Web-based personal broadcasting tool that does not require a software package download or an active connection from the user's computer.

LiveCast allows individuals to create a live broadcast from their computer in minutes. Using the LiveCast tool, anyone with an MP3 library on their computer can be a broadcaster. Like EasyCast, LiveCast is a Web-based application that does not require a software download, but does require an active connection from the broadcaster's computer.

"We believe that these tools allow individuals to challenge traditional entertainment," said John Jeffrey, EVP, Corporate Strategy for Live365.com. "With the launch of these new Web applications, Live365.com has significantly lowered the barriers for individuals to create their own content and share it with others. We are very excited about how these tools are empowering our users, who have in turn supplied Live365.com with the widest array of musical and audio streams on the Web."

Live365.com is the leading online destination for individuals and performers to create, broadcast and listen to personal Internet radio stations. Providing the tools and bandwidth necessary to broadcast, Live365.com allows anyone with a computer to create their own "station" using personally selected content. The site has been lauded as a breakthrough product for unsigned or amateur musicians, bands, talk show hosts, comedians, and general music lovers, and is quickly becoming a destination for agents and A & R executives seeking new talent. Live365.com launched in July 1999 and is headquartered in Foster City, California.
