Live365.com Offers Easy-to-Use Internet Tools and Bandwidth Solutions To Commercial Radio Broadcasters at Gavin Convention
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 16 – Live365.com, the leading source for the creation and broadcast of personal online radio stations, opens the Gavin Convention (Feb. 16-20, Hyatt Regency Embarcadero) with a first-time offering of Internet tools and services designed for independent and commercial radio stations. Live365.com, which has revolutionized Internet radio with its easy-to-use Web-based Internet Tools, will now offer its service to provide its turnkey broadcasting tools and bandwidth solutions to commercial broadcasters.

Since the introduction of Live365.com's broadcasting tools in December 1999, Live365.com has signed up over 100,000 individual broadcasters to use Live365.com's complete broadcasting solution. Live365.com will begin offering those same turnkey tools to the commercial broadcasters. The tools, which allow commercial broadcasters to easily manage their Internet radio offering, are initially being offered with no set-up fee and will provide storage and bandwidth at costs significantly below those commercially available.

Radio stations will have the ability to do live and archived shows and to access the Live365 community, which already includes 500,000 unique monthly visitors and represents an astounding 30% of the total streaming MP3 audience.

"We have already added thousands of new radio-style broadcasts through our personal broadcasters, and we have built a full service solution for broadcasting from a computer. We are now prepared to offer those solutions to commercial broadcasters. We are offering tools, tutorials and bandwidth to the commercial broadcast community, which are cheaper and easier to use than similar solutions," said Alex Sanford, CEO of Live365.com.

Live365.com is the leading global broadcasting Internet community for individuals and performers to create, broadcast and listen to personal Internet radio stations. Providing free tools and bandwidth necessary to broadcast, Live365.com allows anyone with a computer to create their own "station" using personally selected content. Live365.com also services independent and commercial radio stations. The site has been lauded as the breakthrough product for disk jockeys, music-lovers, aspiring talk show hosts, comedians and signed and unsigned artists, as well as listeners. www.Live365.com is the single largest broadcaster of streaming MP3 audio content on the Web. Live365.com launched in July 1999 and is headquartered in Foster City, California.
