Live365 Signs Global Agreement With Nielsen Net Ratings Service
FOSTER CITY, CA (September 21)

Live365, the leading global Internet broadcasting community, announced that it has subscribed to the Nielsen Net Ratings Service, the fastest growing Internet audience measurement service in the industry.

Individuals, performers, businesses, and organizations from all over the country have launched more than 18,000 stations on Live365, using the company's proprietary technology to create and broadcast Internet radio stations from any personal computer with no fee.

The agreement gives Live365 access to the Nielsen Net Ratings measurement service, which provides audience activity information on radio web sites and advertising banners worldwide. The Net Ratings software monitors panelist activity in real time as they use Live365, listen to certain music, and are exposed to certain advertisements. Net Ratings delivers accurate and timely information collected from a representative sample of Internet users and augments it with detailed, flexible reporting and in-depth analyses.

"We are proud to have been chosen by Live365 as a global provider of high quality Internet audience membership," said William Pulver, President of ACNielsen eRatings.com. "We have seen tremendous results since we announced the first global Internet measurement service last year, as buyers and sellers of online advertising have responded enthusiastically to our information quality, our proprietary technology and our patent-pending BannerTrackä service."

"We have chosen a relationship with the Nielsen Net Ratings because the service provides us with the reliable and accurate audience measurement research that Live365 needs," said Raghav Gupta, Director of Special Operations at Live365. "Through the Nielsen Net Ratings service we will be able to examine global audience data in new ways. We believe this service will prove to be a valuable investment for us as we continue to expand."
