About Me
Celebrating New York Jazz -- both past and present -- from a storefront in the historic jazz district of Harlem overlooking "The Corner" where the Tree of Hope once stood between Connie's Inn, The Hoofer's Club and the Lafayette Theatre.
Come visit us at 2236 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd (7th Ave.) between 131st and 132nd Streets.
Call us at 212 283-JAZZ. We have live jazz every afternoon and serve up the best bebop coffee in Harlem along with the best swing potato pie. We carry only cd's of our current local heroes and the masters who've been recorded playing live from one of our legendary clubs: The Village Vanguard, Five Spot, Carnegie Hall, Birdland, Count Basie's, Small's Paradise, Cotton Club, and on and on....
We also have an exciting jazz art gallery back in EZ's Woodshed and offer great posters, photos, books and cards celebrating New York's jazz past and present.
