About Me

I was born an only child in New York City and grew up in Connecticut; I studied piano and guitar as a kid and I've always been a rock fan: even making it to the original Woodstock Festival in 1969... and I managed to get right up near the stage! And all I can say about Woodstock is that it was certainly not the drugs, and not even the music that made it so great... but rather the spontaneous love, sharing and helping one another through the hardships of a disaster situation that brought what many felt was the touch of Heaven. Six months later my mom died of cancer, with one month from diagnosis to the end, and after that sudden shock I fell into a year of deep depression; I tried in vain to study engineering at Boston University, and wound up instead spending most of my time and book money going to rock concerts at the Boston Tea Party and B.U. gym. After a semester I left the university and spent months at home studying various philosophies to find an answer to my grief, particularly Nietsche; but these ramblings all left my heart and soul painfully empty. I was totally hopeless, without hope. This terrible emptiness gradually gave way to a new-found joy when I was introduced to Jesus Christ as a tangible reality in my life by an old high school friend, with the help of some very carefully chosen ROCK SONGS (...an approach I'm now employing in "Daniel 12:3 Radio"...). The songs helped get my head to a place where I soon became interested in the Man Jesus, and I soon gratefully accepted Him as my living Savior, Lord and eternal Friend. Shortly after this I joined a missionary group and traveled America and the world for the next 15 years telling people about Him. I met my wife Karen while on the mission field, and we're now back in the States and have 9 children, a lovely daughter-in-law and 2 excellent grandsons. And Jesus has never failed me, even once, in all these years! If you trust Him, He will give you the desires of your heart, heal you, and provide for you. He still wants us to use all our talents and intelligence, but now to use them in cooperation with Him adn with His Word; and you'll never be sorry you trusted in Him.
