A word from Broadcaster Colin French. I started the station as a means of playing the classic and lost hits of the 50's and 60's. After spending years playing these hits on air I have a large collection and with help of station staff we include many recordings long forgotten. The station started in September 2006 after months of research.The format changed until we captured the 50's and 60's sound that is GOODTIME OLDIES. Using licensed jingles of the time and playing only original sound recordings of the era, the station brings back the memories of a different time when you were younger and life was full of promise and the only worry you had was who to date on a Saturday night.
