I've been an avid fan and collector of 80's music ever since high school (early 90's), when I rediscovered many of those lost songs that never got airtime on the radio anymore. As I was slowly redisovering these songs, it was wonderful to hear them for the first time in a long time, since childhood. By the time I was in college, I wanted to share my music collection with an audience and decided to host an 80's radio show at the college station...I may not have had many listeners, but I enjoyed it and the listeners I did have were devoted fans. So I'm here now to do the same thing again... bring you a variety of music born out of the 1980's-- from new wave, to rock, to pop, dance and soft rock....some popular tunes, some not-so-popular tunes, and some that haven't been given the airplay they deserve. All of the music I have chosen holds a special place in my heart, and brings me back to a time when music was something to celebrate and be inspired by. Whether you are a child of the 80's, like me, or someone who just is a fan of this music for any reason, I hope that you find that this music touches your soul, as it does mine. Although I have over 11 hours of no repeat music, I would like to accomodate your listening needs and update the playlist periodically if needed.
