I started in radio broadcasting in 1970 on a 50,000 watt FM station in Chicago that broadcast on 105.9 on the dial. The station was WXFM-FM and the show I hosted and programmed was Triad. Weeknights from 8pm-1am I sat in a studio at the top of 333 N Michigan Avenue and spun an eclectic mix of progressive rock, jazz-fusion, electronic, ethnic and exotic sounds that proved to be very popular. I did this for 7 years and in that time got to introduce my listeners to many new and diverse artists like Kraftwerk, Heart, Supertramp, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Donna Summer, Styx, Mahavishnu Orch., David Bowie, Gentle Giant and many more. I'm really thrilled to be broadcasting on live365 and being able to share the great blues and doowop 78's I've been collecting for years.
