RADIO ABEOKUTA, celebrates and promotes (through it's webcast and shortwave radio programs on 5780 kHz) the culture, language and music of Abeokuta (a town in West Africa) and Yoruba people in general. Yoruba language is the native language of 30 million people in South Western Nigeria, Central regions of Benin Republic and parts of Togo, all in West Africa.
