Hi, I'm Alan and I am pleased to welcome you to WJJD, also known as The Big Country Giant. I am legally blind and have been in broadcasting for many years. I am married to Marianne and we live on my parents' farm just outside of Tallahassee. Bear, our Chihuahua, is on hand for almost everything, including my radio shows.
I have been a part of the Live365.com family of broadcasters since 2001. I also have many years of experience in terrestrial radio in Tallahassee.
I always wanted to own a broadcast station, and lost a lot of time and money trying to pursue that dream, but it never happened. It's just too expensive. WJJD The Big Country Giant is the station that I really always wanted.
I have always liked country music, and am pleased to be able to share some of my collection with you. Enjoy!
