I am from Dallas, Texas. I've grown up in this area, gone to school here and hung out in the Deep Ellum/Downtown area ever since I can remember. I like local bands and visiting my favorite clubs. I grew up inside The Basement and The Bomb Factory downtown, but unfortunately those venues are both gone now. You don't have to assimilate. I didn't and never will.

I am a Danzig-addicted freak however, my first memory of anything to do with music (other than my mom taking me to a Stones concert when I was 2) was when I was about 11 and my mom took me to a rock-n-roll expo in Dallas and I purchased my first record which was Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind. Oh, but yes, Iron Maiden quickly became my favorite band and there followed some of the greats like Metallica, Anthrax, Testament and Judas Priest just to name a few from my beginning. I was in love and I had the coolest parents to add fuel to my fire. I would save my allowance ($2/a week in those days) and every chance I got I would hit the record store and feed my addiction. I started becoming interested in the flyers with cool artwork and free stickers that the local bands would leave on the counter in all the Ma and Pa record stores around town. Through those simple and early marketing schemes, I was able to get turned on (and quickly) to bands like dead horse, Godflesh, Internal Bleeding Entombed and Genitorturers. Pick yer brain.....Okay, so we've all been to Bills here in Dallas but does anyone remember Seldom Seen Records, Underground Records or Bone Daddy's from the Dallas area???

Descriptively, I can assure that I am a hard-ass, hard-core, heavy metal demoness. I reside on my own planet and follow my ears to what I believe sounds the best and not what sells the most.

Dawn Crosby), Detente, Sisters Of Mercy, Skinny Puppy, Thrill Kill Kult, RevCo, Zombie (Rob or White), Electric Hellfire Club, Godflesh, KMFDM, Lamb Of God, Genitorturers, Machine Head, GWAR, Type O Negative, Pungent Stench, dead horse, Elvis Hitler, Slayer, Gang Green, Meshuggah, Internal Bleeding, Dimmu Borgir, Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Deicide, Kataklysm, Obituary, Bad Brains, Six Feet Under, OLD Cannibal Corpse *Chris Barnes Butchered-at-Birth Style*, Devildriver, Death, Napalm Death, Entombed, M.O.D., Nailbomb, Mastodon, Vader, Suffication and Rigor Mortis (re-animate me baby!) and Immortally Committed. BASICALLY ANYTHING THAT KEEPS ME FROM GOING INTO A HOMICIDAL RAGE WHILE SITTING IN TRAFFIC IS GOOD.
