Joann Gullo/Scott Kuchler
Joann Gullo got her start in the music industry working radio promotions and was later promoted to Vice President of A&R for Eagle Eye Entertainment. After years of consulting and seeking talent for various major record labels, she founded The Inside Connection music magazine in 1997, serving as Publisher while building it up to a national entity with distribution of over 65,000 issues each month. Through her career she has worked with the likes of Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Sugar Ray, Usher, Garth Brooks, Korn, My Chemical Romance, Pearl Jam, Destiny’s Child, The Killers, Maroon 5, plus many other notable artists.
Scott Kuchler was hired by KOCH International after interning on "The Howard Stern Show." By the end of his 5 year tenure at KOCH he had worked his way up to the position of Label Manager for the Progressive division in which he worked with such artists as Carole King, Ringo Starr, Bill Wyman, Dave Davies, The Smithereens, Arlo Guthrie and Sir Bob Geldof among others.
Their mission is twofold: to guide the best independent artists through the process of refining their projects to make them more marketable (and profitable) and to make it easier for executives to discover new talent without the hassle of wading through countless submissions or attending multiple showcases.
Through their company, A&R Unlimited, executives will not only be able to listen to music, but they’ll also have the opportunity to see bands perform live at comfortable showcase events designed to weed out the best of the best.
In addition to catering to the busy executive, this service will act as a one stop for musicians that want to further their career by offering them incentives that cover every aspect in the promotion process.
