ZONA - Spirit of the West is a music channel of Classic Rock, Pop, Folk, Country, Western, and an occasional novelty song thrown in for the heck of it. ZONA plays a wide variety of core classics that reflect the lifestyle, ideals, and folklore of the West, west of the Mississippi River, U.S.A. I was born and raised in Phoenix, where I've hiked the many mountains and deserts, camped in the pines of Prescott, Payson, and the Grand Canyon. I have collected Apache Tears at the bottom of dry canal beds, been boulder jumpin', and spotted countless lizards, rattlesnakes, scorpions and Cactus Wren across the desert landscape.
