There are a couple of motivations for unleashing The Solid Rock Radio.
1. True Classic Rock and Blues are the unforgotten genres of the Christian radio/music industry. Most of the new music offered by the major lables is what I call disposable music. It all sounds alike and the hype is all about what's new. C'mon give me a break. If it hadn't been for visionaries like Larry Norman, Glenn Kaiser and Randy Thomas their wouldn't even be a Contemporary Christian Music Industry.
2. Because the industry has forgotten it's roots most men my age listen to secular Classic Rock. I believe that's because the industry has left them out by aiming their programming at women age 25-55.
3. A GREAT SONG IS ALWAYS A GREAT SONG!
