I am a Mohawk Chief who started broadcasting in 1969 as an alternative to Top 40 stations and to provide variety for the listening audience. After tiring of the same song several times per hour at the height of the "top 40" craze, I introduced the wide variety format shortly after men landed on the moon for the first time. The "big guys" said there was no market for this, yet here I still am forty years later while many of my contemporaries have gone away. There are lots of "Jacks" out there, but my Mohawk Radio Show, the station's flagship program, is THE original. The greatest hits you ever heard, and possibly the greatest hits you never heard are here since we play the big names and Indies together, along with French and Spanish music.
