days until Christmas 2013!
When I started back in 1999, the broadcast consisted of about 30 midi files and had one listener (me). Today, the rotation contains hundreds of songs and (usually) I'm not the only one listening :). However, my reason for broadcasting is the same: I love the Christmas Season, and I believe that Holiday music can be uplifting, no matter what the calendar says. As a wise person once said to me, "Christmas is a feeling in your heart, not a time of year!" Thank you for tuning in & God bless!
Favorite Artists

Frank Sinatra
Where do you start? Simply, the best!

Gang of Four
Andy Gill's guitar work influenced many future guitarists everywhere.

They showed how good electronic music could be.

Dean Martin
One of best, and most under rated male vocalist.

Ella Fitzgerald
Perhaps the prettiest voice ever recorded.

Favorite Albums

Dean Martin - Christmas With Dino
Dean Martin's "ChristmasWith Dino" (basically a reissue of Dean's out-of-print "Making Spirits Bright" CD that came out in 1998) is an absolute gem. It is a compilation of selected songs from his "Winter Romance" album and his "Dean Martin Christmas Album", with the later never available on disc. Dean's voice is a perfect match for the Holidays and his rendition of "Silent Night" is one of the most beautiful ones ever recorded. Also, he is the only one who could get away with calling Rudolph, "Rudy"!

SheDaisy - Brand New Year
SheDAISY's "Brand New Year" CD is a collection of both great original Holiday songs, as well as some very creative takes on some old classics. Check out "That's what I want for Christmas", perhaps the sexiest Holiday song ever recorded.

Frank Sinatra - A Jolly Christmas
Sinatra's "A Jolly Christmas" is a wonderful combination of both secular & religious classics, all of which are sung in way that demonstrates Sinatra's true talent.  Simply put, no collection would be complete without this disc.

Mel Torme - Christmas Songs
Mel Torme's "Christmas Songs" CD was (unbelievably) his first and only Christmas album.  The late, great Velvet Fog, who co-authored the Christmas Song, puts forth a simply perfect effort that covers both standards and the seldom recorded.  His reworking of "Glow Worm" is a jazzy feast, and his version of "Christmastime Is Here" is magic.  (By the way, he is aided on this outing by Keith Lockhart - now of Boston Pops fame).

Cyndi Lauper - Merry Christmas...Have a nice life!
Girls just want to have...a great Christmas Album!  Ms. Lauper's "Merry Christmas...Have A Nice Life!" album was the suprise gift of 1998.  A truly inspirational work filled with mostly original material, ranging from the funk to pop, with a couple of beautiful ballads to boot!
