From the time I was a youngster growing up in rural Upstate N.Y., I was crazy about music. Whether performing onstage with my guitar at folk festivals, dee-jaying at our local AM/FM radio station or developing a new audio codec for mp3; I've always sought out new and better ways to give people the gift of beautiful music.
Along the way, the events of my life led me down many unusual paths. My wife Paula depicted some of the more memorable ones in her "music memoir" with Carly Simon's theme song from "The Spy Who Loved Me".
My story begins in 1972 as a rookie scout-turned-officer to a Special Forces unit in Vietnam followed by our marriage and move to Israel in 1975; then three more decades to "Baroque 24/7" and the development of HDAudioPlus in 2007.
