About Me
COVERUNNER RADIO - Noel Diotte, a songwriter, recording artist and internet DJ. Make my living at pro audio and video in the film industry. I've been running this stream for seven years.
I've been sailing and surfing (in 2007) for about 40 years. I have lived aboard for 20 years. 'Been cruising between Newport Harbor. Alamitos Bay, Catalina Island and Marina Del Rey. I'm homeless right now (lol). Just bought a saltier 30' Cape Dory Ketch. The new boat, but older (1979), is stronger, is her name SHEARWATER (lived on a Catalina 34' for 19 years was my old boat with the same name) the same name from the previous owner. I didn't find out the name of the boat until I had bought her on Ebay until when I found out her name!!!

We just hit 100,000 listening hours and almost 100,000 streams for the last seven years. I'd like to bring more new music, produce more interviews, etc. But, I'm always in the red ($25.00 mo.) to pay for the LIVE365.com costs. PAYPAL also works through (coverunner) coverunner@gmail.com too.
*************************************************** Send funds to LIVE365.com to keep Coverunner Radio to keep running. They like to see at least $40.00 minimum for Money Orders. Send what ever you can. I don't want any money, I just want to cover the broadcasting fees. You like to listen. Help out where you can. Thanks.

Favorite Albums
Boats, Bars, Beaches and Ballads
-
Jimmy Buffett
I agree on this one. This 4 CD set is great. Only we'd need the rum and coke to survive this one and keep our sense of humor.
Wooden Boats
-
Keola Beamer
One of the nicest Hawaiian albums I own. Thoughtful songs and lots of slack-key guitar.
Rhythm of The Ocean
-
Hawaiian Style Band
One of my Favorite Hawaiian albums. A perfect blend of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian styles. Full of True Aloha spirit.
Scottish Influence
-
Wm. Alan Ross
Great blend of traditional Scottish Folk with rock influences. Lots of references to the Scottish struggle for independence.
Tropical Hawaiian Day
-
Ka'au Crater Boys
Also, "On Fire" and "Best of Ka'au Crater Boys" will give you a good collection of contemporary & traditional Hawaiian/rock/reggae style. Songs like "Makaha", "North Shore" & "Maui Girl" - The duo are great guitar & uke players as well. Fun music.
