In the early 1970s i started collecting big band records from the 1930s. took a great interest in the sweet bands. In the 1980s Jack Campbell owner of WPLM radio in plymouth mass. gave me my first break on radio. When jack passed away i moved to Nashville meeting Wambs Bill Barry longtime radio station owner hosting sunday afternoon dance party playing the sweet bands. meeting several friends along the way including Frank Deeter of southern rhapsody dance society after discovering ballroom dancing i decieded to start a broadcast of my own playing all the big bands from the 1930s to today.
