David Doig is a guitarist who writes and performs original music. My music is influenced by many different musical styles with the two predominant influences being Jazz and Classical. My goal is to achieve a high level of skill in the performance of solo music performed on the Nylon String Guitar.
My credentials include a Doctorate in Classical Guitar Performance and a sold out debut recital a Carnegie Hall in 1991.
I am currently the owner of The Bayport School of Music located in Bayport, NY. The school currently provides music instruction to the
local community.
I am currently recording with the progressive rock group Cathedral.
