About David Batty

I am the president and founder of Leyland Accordion Club. My aim is to promote the accordion via the club, this radio station, and our Internet website. My day job is as a writer of educational and business computer software. An example of my work can be found at the and websites. I would be grateful if you could promote either of those two websites for me, the more orders I have coming in, the less I have to promote the sites and the more time I have for accordions and this radio station, thanks.

Accordion Radio Plays 100% accordion music 24 hours per day, listen to Irish music, French, Folk, Classical, Scottish, Russian and much more. I think you will find a wide variety of music on Accordion Radio, remember to return on a regular basis and tell your friends about us. Artists: send us your CD's, although we can't guarantee when they will be played, we do our best to feature a variety of styles and types of accordion music with credit given to the artist where known. I have set up website to sell CDs and DVDs of some of the artists you hear on Accordion Radio. Please tell your accordion friends about it or put it on the links page of your website. You can now follow our updates on Twitter. Visit and follow us to find out when Accordion Radio is updated and which artists are new to the station. It will be nice to have feedback on our station if you have any comments you want to share. Accordion Radio was set up in 2001 by myself (David Batty) as a way of getting accordion music and artists out to a wider audience. I have been running website since 1997 as a way to promote Leyland Accordion Club and I felt this station was a great addition to that site. I hope you like the music I choose to put on the station, please pass the word on and let more people share in the enjoyment of our instrument. David Batty
