About Dennis

Hi, my name is Dennis and I'm sure like many of you, I am in the "prime of my life" - I turned 65 last August."Blasts" has been "on the air" since January 2003 bringing you the great music of the late 50s and early 60s. Can't believe it's been nearly nine amazing years broadcasting this station. I thank you for your support, for making "Blasts" one of the top stations in the "oldies" genre on Live 365, for all the emails and most of all, for listening and sharing the music and the memories with me. I am broadcasting from Fayetteville,, a suburb of Syracuse in Central New York State. For those of you not familiar with New York State, we're about 4 hours northwest of New York City and yes I am a huge Syracuse University sports fan. I look forward to many more years of sharing the music with you. I'll be "hangin' around" as long as you keep listening. One of the questions I am often asked is where do I get the music. I've been collecting vinyl (45s and LP's) for several years and that is my primary source. It is important to me that you rate the songs (the up or down button on the home page.) I do my best to play what you want to hear and the playlist is determined largely on the "up or down" ratings. I also try to update the station on a regular basis. To those of you kind enough to send me a Live 365 gift certificate or sign up for Live 365 VIP membership, my sincere thanks. It helps offset my broadcasting fee. Please send me an email so I can thank you personally. Keep rockin - Dennis
