Have been listening to Doo Wop and the "Oldies but Goodies" music since the late 60's, we even called them "oldies" then. :-) Of course, Detroit's Motown, some of the 70's and R&B oldies were also favorites to dance to. Guess I am a "hopeless romantic" and really started missing the Doo Wop and great love songs of the late 50's and early 60's, :-) especially in the "wee small hours of the morning." I do love playing the, "I am so broken hearted, won't ya please love me music" in the evening hours and doing "For Lovers Only", with a bit of the BLUES for the "Lonely hearts club." Seems alot of Doo Wop is "my heart is so broken, I miss ya baby" music, add a bit of the BLUES and it is the best of music for Easy Listening. I prefer hearing the music with a "good beat" mixed in with ballads during the day. ;-)I decided to set up this station for those remembering going to dances, kissing in the back seat of a chevy, and those great years gone by. Ya wanna cry over "lost love", got the blues, some of this music can do it.
