As a former broadcaster I am always amazed at how much music there is out there, and of the music I simply forgot about. I also get to find out what's out there that I haven't heard before. It is fun for me as well as a learning experience. Your requests are very important for the diversity of music on this show.

I was a co-host of Dimensiones Latinas on KCRW in the late 70's, as well as similar programs on KCSN and KSUL. I have an extensive music collection (in many styles and genres) to share with you, the listener. NOTE: I update my playlists frequently, so send in your requests on my e-mail link. Join me in this labor of love, I am not doing this program for fame or recognition. I am not doing it for monetary gain, on the contrary, I pay to have my program carried on LIVE365(tm)

NOTE: I would like to thank Jorge Aceves Madrid who has been contributing music to the program. (Jorge was the founder of Dimensiones Latinas, which ran on KCRW-FM Santa Monica, CA in the mid to late 70's)

Support Cancer & Diabetes research. It might save your life, or the life of a loved one.***************************************************One more thing, I don't care what your politics are, SUPPORT OUR TROOPS WHO ARE IN HARMS WAY. Don't forget to thank a veteran, they have to be there regardless of the conflict. (right or wrong). Latinos have always been there for our country. Suggested reading, "Among The Valiant" Mexican-Americans in World War II and Korea by Raul Morin. Then you too will say, "Who the heck is Audie Murphy anyway"**********************************************************************
I have been asked by listeners if I have a studio, can't afford one. I edit my own music and record my own announcements. I do this on my PC which I built from scratch. So far, I have gone through 5 cabinets, 13 hard drives, 13 motherboards and 6 processors. I have uploaded all my CDs into my PC. I also digitize my albums that are out of print (whenever I get time). As far as my operating system I use Windows XP Pro, it seems to work better with my programming needs. I also use Windows Media Player 10 to keep track of the length of my playlists. That's it in a nutshell........ |
