i love music. i enjoy a wide range of music styles. in school i was in 3 different bands and one orchestra. later i played tenor saxophone in a jazz band. i participate in tribal drum and bellydance troups. i have dj'ed in one format or another since ~1997, including radio stations and night clubs. i dj because i respect and envy those who make their own music. i show my appreciation by playing my favorites to anyone who'll listen. in my other life i have a BS and MS in geology, i am currently pursuing a PhD in planetary volcanology. i don't have time for a regular show or club night anymore (i have NO life!! :) so this creature was born. ***** in case you haven't noticed, the "buy" button isn't always all that useful for the genres i play. start with the artist's website (don't be afraid to write, them or me. i'll help ya if i can!). also, check out the links below. those are some of the places i satisfy my cravings!!! >:-] *****
