I began playing the Hammond organ in the late sixties in San Diego, Ca. My very first Hammond was the Hammond M3 and Leslie 147.
I really began getting my education while playing the blues circuit in Kansas City, Mo. I played with The BWB Band who later toured nationally behind the harmonica sensation, Brody Buster.
Later, I played the Hammond B3 with the late great Cotton Candy Washington and played on her debut CD, "They Call Me Cotton Candy."
I was always in demand and I backed a variety of artists including Linda Shell and The Blues Thang. I provided Hammond organ and piano tracks on her CD along with Texas guitar slinger, Sherman Robertson.
In 1998, I moved to the San Francisco Bay area where I toured and played with Little Sister and The Bad Intentions. My Hammond licks can be heard on Little Sister's "Live At The Mystic Theater".
I later relocated to Albuquerque, NM where I now play Hammond B3 with the Mystic Vic Blues Band.
