An Irish Italian Brooklyn Cowboy, born in the USA. Nurtured in the 50's, raised in the 60's, and made aware in the 70's. Here we are in the 00's - but I'm still "On the Bus" and "Truckin". I discovered bluegrass through the Grateful Dead - and it has been "A long strange trip". A writer of songs and a singer of stories. I was raised in Brooklyn, NY and like Mr Kotter, "dreamed of my ticket out". I moved to the suburbs of Wash, DC, "the bluegrass capitol of the world", where I got my first real job, raised my family and played lots of bluegrass. I currently reside in the green hills of southwestern Conneticut.

In this time of great turmoil, let us not forget the blessings we enjoy as Americans. Our freedom has been paid for by those who have come before us. It appears the bill has come due again.
"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty."
John Fitzgerald Kennedy
