About the Station

Hippiechickradio on LIVE365 is all about timeless cool. Classic Rock, but not the same ol same ol or song versions. Grateful Dead, other good Jam Bands, and the Beatles also rule the programming. Some Blues, Cowboy Swing, and other suprises -- poof! FUN!

About the hippie chick

MEET THE HIPPIE CHICK

I've been a radio DJ since 2005 -- and I KNOW my music! Classic Rock, Jam Bands and more! The luxury of being able to create your own playlists is what draws me back to LIVE 365. But, uh... I wouldn't mind a gig at a terrestrial station, either :-)

I love radio and making that individual connection with the listener. I especially dig it when we can share a love for the same types of music.

I'm eclectis -- and you never know WHAT you'll find, week to week, on Hippie Chick Radio. I'm into Blues, Outlaw Country, Traditional Native American Music, Bluegrass, folk music and a host of other stuff. Hippie Chick Radio is your Kind Suprise!

I appreciate you dropping in to listen. If you have a request -- send it! If you like this station -- rate it! And, hey... don't be shy about presetting me. I won't tell the other stations.

I also work as a mobile DJ with Magic Notes Mobile Music. If you're in the NW PA or NE OH area and need a professional DJ service for ANY occation (Well... except KKK Rallies and that ilk) contact me!

This broadcast is meant to reflect Autumn; with its last warmth of the Sun's rays. It's greens giving to golds and reds. The air smells like woodfires and cloths that have been line-dried. Soups in big crocks, rich coffee and cornbread permiate. Fallen leaves cruch underfoot and whirl in a breeze that carries a hint of the winter in waiting. Multch piles, wood piles and canning stockpiles. All these are the tones and textures of a season of transition. Spring and Autumn are transitional. Each is a precurser to a goal -- a harbanger. Spring leads to a long awaited Summer. Autumn leads to an enivitable Winter -- and we seem to spend so much of our lives waiting for or against one or the other. I am choosing to embrace what's here right now -- and the beauty of change in process. Enjoy your process :-)
