DJ Profile
classic country music online from Wide Open Country on Live365 Internet Radio
DJ: Country Rocker
Location: Ridgecrest, CA

Having been born in Oklahoma and raised in Bakersfield,California both hotbeds for country music, I grew tired of country music in the mid to late 70's and turned to Country-Rock groups like the Flying Burrito Brothers, The Eagles, Pure Prairie League and Poco. In 1994 I became a born again Christian and became interested in Christian Country. You will hear a little of both on this station in addition some classic country that I grew up on. What's so cool about good country music is its honesty. It will tell you about life's ups and downs along with God, Family and Country in it's main message.
