Dallas, TX is one of the planet's largest retail markets, especially when it come to multi-media. It's among the top U.S. cities in current economic growth, is spread over a vast geographical piece of land, has one of the premier NFL teams in the league, an elite NBA team, more restraraunts and bars per capita than anywhere else on the globe, was the murder capital of the world, (literally) in 2005 ......... Where's our Rap Scene ???? It's here, and man is it a sight to be seen, better yet a sound to hear. We got a bad reputation from a couple of dance singles that made it big, saying that our music has no substance, originality, history, culture, etc. Wrong! Dallas Rap music is the voice of The DIrty Dallas Streets and ghetto's all accross town. Each one brings a unique spin to their beat choices, lyrical content, ryhme schemes, slang, and overall swagger. All so different on respectable artistic aspects of music ... not to mention no beef within the city. D-Town the movement was initiated by the City's leaders in music, sports, radio, church, and community and is now set out to do something never yet seen by our "International Rap Market" .... The whole city is ridin' together .... You won't see just one Dallas rapper enter the major limelight and leap into superstardom, we refuse. Someone gets on ... we'll all be there to support and get on too. That's how love is ... name another city like that !!
