My name is Rich Meyers. I'm 44 years old and have been happily married for 26 years now. We have 4 children, ages 18 - 25.
I grew up listening to a wide variety of music styles, from Country to Jazz, to Big Band, R&B and beyond, but my main musical interest has always been Rock and Roll.
Journey internet Fan Radio is dedicated to playing the music of Journey, as well as that of all of it's members, past and present.
Besides Journey, some other artists featured on JIFR '08 include Bad English, The Storm, Tall Stories, Santana, Neal Schon, Steve Perry, Whitesnake, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, David Bowie, The Tubes, Sammy Hagar, Cheap Trick, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Heart and many more.

My absolute favorite band of them all! Journey's music has been an integral part of my life since I first heard 'Wheel In The Sky', back in 1978! My absolute favorite Journey song is 'Walking Away From The Edge'

Another band that was a big part of my life, second only to Journey! I have many favorites, but if pressed, I'd have to say 'Time For Me To Fly' which I listed as my favorite song of all-time in my high school yearbook!
AC/DC
The kings of Hard Rock!!! These guys have been going strong for over 33 years now and show no signs of slowing down! I'll never tire of an Angus Young guitar riff!!! My favorite AC/DC tune is 'Night Prowler'!!!
Van Halen
Eddie Van Halen is by far the greatest living Metal guitarist!!! 'Black And Blue' is my favorite Hagar era VH tune, while 'Ice Cream Man' is my favorite DLR era VH song!!!
Bad Company
'Silver, Blue And Gold' is my favorite BC song!!! Paul Rodgers is one of the greatest rock vocalists of them all!!!

This Classic includes 'Lights', Wheel In The Sky', 'Feeling That Way' and 'Anytime', as well as 'Patiently' and the majestic and beautiful 'Winds Of March'. It is a Classic for the ages, featuring Steve Perry and Neal Schon at the pinnacle of their careers. Gregg Rolie, Ross Valory and Aynsley Dunbar round out one of the finest units in Rock History!
