President and Chief Executive Officer of the Kidney Cancer Association (KCA), a global voluntary health organization, Mr. Bro is a 17-year cancer survivor and is a member of the National Cancer Institute Director’s Consumer Liaison Group (DCLG), Cancer Leadership Council, American Public Health Association, National Coalition for Cancer Research, Association Forum of Chicagoland, and Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). He is a director of Friends of Cancer Research, Washington, D.C. Mr. Bro also holds a seat on the Kidney Health Council of the American Urololgical Association. He also serves as an advisor to the Cancer Genome Atlas and the Biomarkers Consortium of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
