Once upon a time in New Jersey, Fayson Lakes to be exact a young boy would swim every summer, eat at the CAVE, play sandlot Stickball, Football, Basketball, Tennnis, Swimming, High Diving, Skin Diving, Fishing, Ice Hockey, Swim Races on Sundays, chase girls and well, drink. In 1971 Joe Surf visited Ocean Beach, California and decided he needed a pair of Birdwell britches to swim in back at home at Fayson Lakes. Many parties later and after somehow graduating High School, Joe Surf went back to California and 7 years later while in the U.S. Navy at North Island, Coronado, CA. he finally went surfing. Little did he know his surfboard tether would save him much embarrasment, because his pants fell off while trying to catch a wave. Forgot his Birdwells. Many moons later, he still can't surf but loves San Diego. Plays some guitar. Surfs the internet, took the name Surf after a scientist he knows referred to Joe's status as a journal researcher at UCSD's BioMedical Library as being a "serf". Joe is constantly surfing for information, music. Enjoy music, please become a VIP. |
