BAGeL Radio is on the air 24 hours a day 7 days a week, playing the newest and best indie rock on the planet. If you want to hear more than just the same 40 songs over and over again, BAGeL Radio can help. Tune in to the more than 4000 songs on the continually updated BAGeL Radio playlists. Playlists include indie rock, alternative rock, and noisy pop. Mostly guitar music...no testosterock. Other featured genres include electronic music, hip hop, garage rock, 60s psychedelia, and even some classic rock.
Former Boston club DJ/manager now living in SF, my station plays indie rock, alternative rock, electronic music, hip hop, gargage rock, 60s psychedelia, home-made Public Service Announcements (with and without guitars), and whatever else I need a fix of at the moment. Give a listen, take notes, and send your comments to feedback@bagelradio.com.

Favorite Artists
Beatles
They took what previously existed and reinvented it over and over again. We continue to reap the rewards of their genius.
Radiohead
The music just keeps getting better...well, "HTTT" was a little disappointing, but still great.
The Wedding Present
Best Lyrics Ever.
Pixies
Best Noisy Pop Band Ever.
Death Cab For Cutie
Another great album ("Plans") bumps the Police out of my top five.

Revolver
Always my favorite Beatles album, the bizarro sounds on REVOLVER were what whet my appetite for edgy, noisy rock. If any album set my taste more than any other, this is the one. Once I realized I could go out and buy my own records, I kept looking for the next REVOLVER.

Kid A
What is this album about? What does it mean? What is it trying to tell us? Has the musical genre been adequately decribed/labeled yet? I don't know, I just know that KID A hooked me from the first listen and kept me engaged with daily listenings for months. AMNESIAC wasn't as good, but I'm going with the theory that it was just KID A b-sides. HTTT was strong but ultimately disappointing, so I can't wait to see what Oxford's finest band produces next.
The Who
-
Tommy
Pop, experimental, original, operatic, noisy, touching, deep, incredible double album that still, after all these years, moves me.
The Cure
-
The Head On The Door
Hard to choose a favorite Cure album, but I recently dug out THE HEAD ON THE DOOR for the first time in a while and it was hard to decide if Side A was better than Side B (yes, I own this on vinyl). I'm a big fan of both sides now.
The Wedding Present
-
Bizarro
Greatest Lyrics Ever.
