About Me
When I was a boy, I was exposed to music from my other brother Steven. He played a lot of different types of music from rock n roll to new wave. When I got older, my brother Mike listen to Peter Murphy. Tho through out my High School years most of the credit goes to my best friend Bubbles who listened to Bauhaus and introduced me to their music. All these people influenced me in one way or another.
With these influences I wanted to be Gothic. So after my graduation I decided to be in the Goth scene. One day going to a clothing store called Gamma-Gamma (the original goth clothing store in San Diego unlike the trendy Hot Topic.) I saw a flyer from a club called SubNation. After Hearing about this club and from others in school I tried to go but didn't know who it was but it turned out to be a known D.J. in the Gothic scene named Tom Feeney. Around 1992 I met Demian Dorrance at the club called Chain Reaction. The funny story about how I met him went like this - he came up to me one night at the club and asked me what song and group I would like to listen to. And I said "Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead ". The next minute I heard my song, I was shocked because nobody ever played a request I asked for. From there our friendship grew. During that time I helped him out with his project club called Mass. All I can say is that club could never be copied even if others tried in their dreams. From these experience and knowledge I had from going to the clubs I have adapted into my show at KCR and Darksideradio.com 24/7 Gothic Radio Station.
