Anyone who has worked in radio, or more specifically, rock radio, will tell you that once you have been there it is in your blood. I worked for a popular rock radio station in Central Pennsylvania during the late 80's and early 90's. Economics forced me to leave and I now work full time as a production manager and network administrator in the printing industry. I wanted a career in radio because during the 80's rock radio's format was, in my opinion, at its peak. Now I listen and the first thing I think is--WHAT HAPPENED TO ROCK RADIO?! It is either classic rock or modern "active rock". What happened to the true Album Rock Radio format? And then I found Live365 and a former rock animal from Central Pennsylvania is BACK! I hope you enjoy listening to WMAC as much as I enjoy presenting it. This one is for the rock fan who remembers the true AOR format. So...CRANK IT UP AND ROCK ON!
