Ever since I was old enough to babysit, I have helped raise some amazing kids with my whimiscal and empathetic view of childhood. This station, and the corresponding web site to launch Summer 2005, HipYoungParent. com, is my attempt to filter this experience and passion into helpful and entertaining nuggets to assist today's cool parents (in all facets and definitions) in finding alternatives for the old stand-bys. In the months to follow I plan to focus on music, film and book reviews, unconventional decorating ideas, and new clothing for HYP babies, kids and parents.
