I'm a music lover. I've always made mix tapes (showing my age) and CDs for my friends. Sharing good music brings me great joy. Internet Radio seems to be the next logical step.
I enjoy a wide selection of music and my station will reflect that diversity. I love the juxtiposition of old and new. Electronica/Electroclash is my staple genre, but I'm into Indie, Rock, 50's and 60s girlbands, Punk, 80's hip hop and sleazy disco.
Originally, I am from Houston, Texas. I've lived in London for nearly 6 years and love the music scene here (I won't comment about the weather)! There are fantastic groups coming out of the woodwork in London. My hope is that people hear something on my station that they've never heard before and they fall in love with a new band.
Favorite Artists
Daft Punk
Daft Punk blend rock, synthpop, dance and hard techno beats seamlessly. They have to be one of the most original bands ever. Plus, they kick ass live!
LCD Soundsystem
LCD Soundsystem makes me want to move. They have a way with percussion- it builds and builds until you just can't stop yourself from dancing.
David Bowie
Bowie has influenced almost every genre of music out there. He's not affraid to experiment stylisticly- for better or worse- and he's a fashion icon.
Dolly Parton
She reminds me of being a little boy, driving in the car with my parents. She's one of the reasons I feel in love with music. Dolly is a classic that never goes out of style.
Goldfrapp
Alison Goldfrapp has one of the most amazing voices in music. Goldfrapp moves in melodic, cinematic waves and can crash into sleazy electro at the drop of a hat.

We Are The Pipettes
This is pure pop sensation. It's like punk meets doo wop. How can you go wrong with 3 girls who've got attitude and angelic voices?

Discovery
This had to be Daft Punk's best album- dance meets rock. When One More Time comes on, no matter what I'm doing, mentally I'm on a dancefloor.
Tori Amos

Under The Pink
Let the critics say all the mean things in the world about Tori, cuz I love her. This is one of the most heart felt, emotionally frustrated albums ever. I love to sing to it - falsetto - and loud.
Goldfrapp
-
Felt Mountain
I started listening to this album in Texas just before I met my husband. He had the album at his flat and said it was one of his favourites. We instantly bonded over the beauty of Goldfrapp. It will always remind me of him.
Klaxons

Myths of the Near Future
The Klaxons have a great sound, experimenting with rave, punk and sythpop. The album is dark, but there is some hope somewhere in there, and that makes me happy. The songs are lush and the lyrics are intellegent. Also, it makes me want to dance.
