Hi! My name is John Macdonald. I am an ex schoolie; would you believe? All my life since an early age I have enjoyed listening to and composing music. I composed my first piece when I was only twelve years of age for the piano. I had a number of piano and theory teachers. Over the years I composed many pieces including songs and conducted several school choirs. While I was teaching I always enjoyed composing, first on the piano and later the electronic keyboard. During this time my wife and I raised eight children and lived in different parts of Australia. Altogether I have composed more than 3000 pieces mainly instrumental.
