Hello! I'm a former radio jock from the 80's and 90's (WHFB-FM, Benton Harbor, MI and WJTW-FM, Joliet/Chicago, IL), a "retired" mobile DJ and an active hobby 45RPM record collector. Over my life, I'm guessing I've collected over 150,000 45's, or more, in addition to thousands of albums and CDs - and I still actively go to record swaps and shows several times a year. I'm a "lifelong Chicagoan" (born and raised there), but currently living outside Columbus, Ohio. I'm 51, married and have one daughter, a dog, cat and a mortgage. In my real life, I work at a Investment firm. With so many hobby stations playing the same Top 40 70's, 80's, classic rock, album tracks, disco and "deep cuts" (and there's nothing wrong with that), I decided to make use of my record collection and my chart knowledge to create a new kind of 45 RPM vinyl-record based radio station.
