I'm just your ordinary and average Joe who has absolutely no prior broadcasting experience. Inspiration for creating Sock Hop Oldies came when the so-called oldies station in my city would play nothing from before 1964. Apparently, they think the audience for anything before Beatlemania aren't tuning in. Well, I think the professionals who are in charge of programming are just plain flat-out WRONG!!! There's still a lot of folks out there who appreciate the music that you'll hear 24/7 right here on the Hop. And judging by the number of hours that this station has been racking up, my hunch has been right.
