DJ Profile
metal music online from OZ's Glam & Hair Metal on Live365 Internet Radio

Live365 asks, "Why do I do what I do?" OZ does it for YOU, of course! Plus he just can't seem to let this era go. (I STILL have big hair!) Glam ruled both the pop scene and MTV. Now, it gets nothing but ridicule. (So does my hair!) Well, the OZ-man says, "Long live glam, hair metal and the power ballads! Rock on!" Give me the women, the screaming guitars, and the high falsettos...and the Aqua Net - extra super hold, of course. (That's not just a band-on-tv-thing, we really used it!) Was I ever in the scene you ask? Well, just around the fringes. I had a couple of lead singer positions, but never got to a "live" stage....that's probably a good thing! I did have some plenty of good times running with bands here in Indiana. Seems too long ago. You can take away my 20's, the women, the booze and chemicals, and what still remains today is the driving force of a lifestyle - the music. I really hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did, and still do. Hope you hear one here that makes you say, "Wow, I forgot ALL about THEM!" Cum on feel the noize on OZ's Glam and Hair Metal SuperStation - Broadcating NOW!!! Peace!
Favorite Artists

Jackyl
Just flat out R-A-U-N-C-H-Y!

KISS
Takes me back to a pre-head-banging puberty!

Ozzy Osbourne
No words necessary!

Tesla
Remember that one crazy chick? The one who LOVED singing Tesla with you when you were taking her home? The one who your now ex-wife thought was her friend? The one who would make-out with you repeatedly but never go further? Me neither! (Don't tell the ex-!)

Triumph
Three-man Canadian THUNDER! And the concerts....Whew! (Could have been biased by lab-created substances during that period of my life.)

Favorite Albums

Def Leppard - Hysteria
Just how many MEGA-hits can you squeeze out of one album anyway??? And what other concert does the crowd know all of the lyrics and almost drown out the band on every song?

Whitesnake - Whitesnake
The anthems of the movement. And the sexy VIDEOS! Oooo-weee!

Guns 'n Roses - Appetite For Destruction
I was young. I was angry. Need I say more?

Stryper - To Hell With The Devil
A little divine intervention to keep a young hard-rocker from going the rest of the way over the edge. Oh dear youth....

Judas Priest - Screaming For Vengeance
Loud. Fast. Angry...and well-engineered. Say it isn't so. Rob Halford is ____????? NOOOOOO!

Favorite Broadcasters

masmith
Rusty Metal Radio (by masmith) was my inspiration. I listened enough to jump into broadcasting myself. No rust here though, M.A.!

babycyanide
Baby's Cyanide Groove? OK honestly, I'm listening for the first time right now. She has the tracks it seems. Myself I'm going for the "popular cuts" but this is great work! What caught my attention was the fact that she is a SHE! Baby's only in her 20's, too! I have to admire the taste she has for her age group. (I thought glam was for us mid-life-crisis males only!) Rock On, Baby!

rock_n_radio
Three words. Selection. Selection. Selection. OK, so I just started listening, but it says over 4,000 songs. In all honesty, I believe that I was a past listener through one of the .mp3 players. Apparently, they have it together!

syntorx
GLAM METAL RADIO- again, I am going for the most popular songs from these artists, but syntorx is playing my kind of metal!
