James Murphy is one of the finest producers working today. he can really balance the complex and simple to make some of the best music today.

everything after '95 = sucky. everything before that = amazing

my second favorite album, i can also spend my whole day listening to this

Madvillain - Madvillainy
fantastic, smooth, clever hip-hop. the fact that this was a one-off kind of thing kept Madvillain off of my favourite artists

Gang of Four - Entertainment!
this album is responsible for more bands to day i can think of. anything that sound remotely like a combo of funk and punk.

Radiohead - The Bends
yeah, i like this one better than OK Computer. so sue me.
