I'm a terminal «salsa adicto». Smoking no more than two or three «puros» each year - when in Havana, close to the genial musicians, off course - and drinking no more than a «mojito» per night, use salsa tracks in my «daily fix» ceremony. Dancing salsa since years, soon people discovered my skills as salsa parties promoter, giving life to my music library... I´m dj since 1999 at several night clubs and parties (Scotch in Coimbra; Santiago Alquimista and Mercado da Ribeira, Lisbon; Maré Alta and Registus, Porto) and played as official Dj at the 1st Congresso Mundial de Salsa 2002 de Lisboa, as well as at the 1st Festival Internacional de Salsa de Portugal 2003 (in Lisbon, Coimbra, Braga e Porto). After having done an exclusive work to Ritmo Latino since 2004, I'm again «on the road» as a salsa dj. I've just participated the «II Symposium Internacional de Salsa de Coimbra», both as Dj, as conferencist - with Eddie Torres in a Salsa History round table - and as salsa teacher - cuban salsa beginners and casino rueda intermediate workshops. These days in Coimbra region I organise regular parties each 1st Saturdays at Pop Fresh and 3rd Saturdays at Quinta da Sobreira Quinhentista (Ançã). RADIO SALSA, since 8th JANUARY 2004
