I'll never forget the night I first tuned in WLS burning its powerful signal all the way from Chicago to Florida. I loved working at my college FM station in the mid-70s ... and Wow! How about those summer vacation days as a DJ at the powerhouse "Solid Gold" AM station with studios high atop a beach resort in St. Petersburg, Florida!
